250 jobs in the pipeline for Armagh-based health care provider Trinity SCS

Armagh-based health & social care provider Trinity SCS are set to create 250 jobs island-wide as part of their new service expansion plans.

This new strategy follows the organisation’s aim to provide additional residential services, bespoke specialised nurse-led services, supported living services, day services and outreach services across the border counties in 2024 and 2025.

Trinity SCS was founded in 2021 as a health and social care provider to provide support and care to children and adults with an intellectual/learning disability, autism, and associated mental health needs.

The main areas for recruitment in this new campaign are; Donegal, Sligo, Cavan, Monaghan, Louth, Fermanagh, Armagh, and Tyrone, with a range of positions available at each of these locations, including nurses and social care staff.

Trinity SCS prides itself on its person-centred approach to service delivery, where each of its services are built around the person in receipt of care and support in accordance with Trinity SCS’s values.

They work in partnership with the person and their representatives, family members, carers, health professionals and those innate to the person’s circle of support. This is to ensure that each person receives the right support, at the right time, in the right way, to live their best possible life.

One exciting new facility that Trinity SCS are introducing are the Trinity Inclusive Day Services (TIDS) in Armagh to provide support for adults with learning disabilities.

Each person attending will have their own bespoke service that will enable them to develop their skills.  Activities within TIDS Armagh will include; computer skills, daily living skills, sports & leisure inclusion, arts, crafts and more!

Each person attending TIDS Armagh will have a detailed weekly activity schedule which will be developed in conjunction with the person in receipt of the service, their representative, and the multi-disciplinary team.

It comes as Trinity SCS sees an increase in referrals across the island of Ireland, with a significant number of children and adults with mental health needs requiring services.

The organisation has strong leadership to take this step forward as collectively, its two founders Sinead Fursden and Cormac Coyle have over fifty years of experience and expertise in the field, with Cormac holding significant senior leadership roles across the island of Ireland.

Under their guidance, Trinity SCS is an innovative organisation with a flexible and dynamic approach to providing care and support services to both children and adults with an intellectual disability and autism.

In partnership with the Health Service Executive in Ireland and the Health and Social Care Trust in Northern Ireland, Trinity SCS offers a bespoke approach to new service delivery.

To support these expansions, a Trinity SCS Board has also been appointed, which consists of leading experts in healthcare leadership, finance, and property management. This allows for Trinity SCS to become more agile and innovative in its service design with healthcare commissioners.

Dr Cormac Coyle, CEO of Trinity SCS said: “This is an exciting time to be part of Trinity SCS. This is the first expansion growth, as the vision for Trinity SCS is to become the leading intellectual/learning disability provider across the island of Ireland.”

For the roles available, Cormac says a relevant qualification and experience are desirable, but not essential.

He added: “If candidates do not have experience or a qualification in health and social care, Trinity SCS will provide training through its apprenticeship programme.

“Each candidate most demonstrate kindness and compassion as their guiding ethos. Their values must align to Trinity SCS – Person-centred, Transparent, Empowering, and Understanding.”

There’s also opportunities for succession planning within the organisation, and for candidates to develop their own career path and become future leaders.

Combine that with an excellent rate-of-pay and even an additional annual leave day for your birthday, Trinity SCS may very well be that perfect opportunity for you to make a difference!
