Lurgan job fair returns to connect jobseekers with real opportunities

Jobseekers across the Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon borough are invited to take the next step in their career journey as the Labour Market Partnership hosts its upcoming Lurgan Job Fair on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at Lurgan Town Hall from 10am to 1pm.

Whether you’re looking for your first job, returning to the workforce, or ready for a new direction, the event is designed to open doors to real opportunities with local employers actively recruiting across a wide range of sectors.

The job fair is delivered through Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council’s Labour Market Partnership (LMP), funded by the Department for Communities. Labour Market Partnerships create targeted employment action plans for council areas, allowing for collaboration at local and regional level to support people towards and into work.

Organised in collaboration with the local Jobs and Benefits Office, the Lurgan event will offer attendees the chance to:

  • Meet face to face with employers currently hiring
  • Explore live vacancies, apprenticeships and training programmes
  • Receive guidance from employability experts on CVs, interviews and career planning
  • Discover new pathways into work, training or self-employment

Lord Mayor of Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon, Alderman Stephen Moutray commented: “Our job fairs are about more than matching people with employers, they’re about inspiring confidence, building connections and helping individuals take that important step toward a brighter future. With a fantastic range of employers joining us in Lurgan, we’re bringing real opportunities directly into the heart of our community.”

The Lurgan job fair is free to attend, with no registration required.
