ACTIVITY INSTRUCTOR – WATCHTOWER ADVENTURES
Want to join the team at Watchtower Adventures? We are looking for an Activity Instructor to run our group sessions.
You’ll be hosting everything from kids’ birthday parties (ages 8+) to corporate days out, stags, and hens. Your main job is to keep everyone safe, organised, and having a fun time. Other duties include setting up and clearing up for activities. You will be looking after a mix of activities including paintball, clay pigeon shooting, bubble soccer, and more. Training on each activity will be provided.
Location: Watchtower Adventures, 46 Lower Faughill rd, Jonesborough, Newry BT35 8SQ
Essential Criteria
- Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays.
- Minimum age of 20 years old

What you’ll be doing:
- Welcoming and settling patients
- Chairside assistance during dental and hygiene procedures
- Maintaining a clean and safe clinical environment
- Decontamination and sterilisation of instruments
- Help when required with reception duties; this role will predominately comprise clinical duties, however, the ability to contribute to the team rota for reception will be required on occasion to ensure consistency of patient care and fluidity of the patient journey.
- Manage patient records and update necessary documentation accurately as required.

This is a varied sales role within an established independent business where customers are often making significant purchases for their homes. You’ll be expected to understand what the customer actually needs, recommend the right products and provide knowledgeable advice from the initial enquiry through to sale and after-sales support.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven sales experience, ideally involving high-value products
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A strong customer service and relationship-building approach
- Confidence dealing with customers face-to-face, by telephone and online
- Good IT skills and confidence learning new systems
- The ability to work independently, manage your own workload and use initiative
- A practical, solutions-focused approach to customer enquiries
- The ability to work effectively as part of a busy team
- Flexibility regarding working hours
- Experience within home appliances, stoves, fires, flooring, carpet or wider retail would be advantageous, but industry experience is not essential for the right person.
