R. Thompson and Son Ltd require a General Factory Operative for Farmlay Eggs in Armagh.

Job Title: General Factory Operative REF: GFO/230824

Reporting To: Factory Manager

Purpose: To work as a team member within various areas of our egg packing factory.

Hours: Monday – Friday – (07:30 – 16:00)

Pay: Rates start from £12.40 up to £14.40 – Role/Area dependant

Positions: Full time @ 38.3hours per week

  • Packing egg cartons into customer boxes.
  • Loading machines with eggs and packaging.
  • Operating and monitoring various machines throughout factory.
  • Building of pallets.
  • Loading vehicles.
  • Cleaning of working area.
  • Completing paperwork and any other administration work as associated with various factory areas.
  • Any other essential tasks as required by factory areas.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Basic Food Hygiene training
  • Previous experience in factory environment

Essential Criteria:

  • English language communication skills – both oral and written
  • Available to work flexible hours as required to meet customer demands
  • Available to work in all factory areas when required
  • Good Manual Dexterity
  • Punctual and Reliable.
  • Team working
