Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled Trailer Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing trailers, ensuring they are in optimal working condition. This is a permanent full-time position.
Job Duties:
▪ Perform equipment repairs on trailers
▪ Conduct routine maintenance to prevent breakdowns
▪ Performing PSV inspections, servicing and repairing various vehicles and trailers and handling diagnostics, mechanical, electrical and hydraulic repairs.
▪ Ensure vehicles are maintained and repaired to a high standard
▪ Keeping accurate service records
▪ Maintaining a high standard of professionalism
▪ Dealing with breakdowns and defects
▪ Demonstrate a keen attention to detail
Job Requirements:
▪ Fully Qualified HGV Mechanic
▪ Previous experience in a similar role. Fridge Experience Preferred but not essential.
▪ Valid UK driving license
▪ Problem solving skills
▪ Attention to detail
▪ Team player
