Main Purpose of the Role:

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving the growth of our tilt rotator products across the UK and Ireland. This involves identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with heavy machinery users and dealers, and developing strategies to meet sales targets. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding Versaffix’s market presence and increasing its share within the heavy machinery sector.

Essential Criteria

Education:

• A degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or at least 5 years of sales experience in a related industry is required

• A master’s degree or relevant professional certifications are desirable, as the role offers significant career growth.

Experience:

• A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in business development or sales, preferably within the heavy machinery or construction equipment sector.
• A strong understanding of tilt rotators, heavy machinery, and the specific challenges within the industry is essential.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners.
• Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant business tools.
• Willingness to travel frequently across the UK and Ireland, and potentially globally in the future.

Followed by a face to face meeting at our HQ in Newry and lasty the final candidates may be asked to deliver a short presentation of how you build a strategic plan for our business over your first 3, 6, 9 and 12 months of your new role with us.
