Food Service Staff
Key Responsibilities:
- To present a professional and courteous attitude, to include professional presentation of uniform and hygiene.
- To ensure that all tasks are completed within the allocated time frames, maintaining the standard expected of the hotel.
- Greeting customers, having extensive knowledge of menu’s, taking orders efficiently and presenting them as requested.
- To maximise sales and ensure prompt and accurate billing procedures.
- To maintain effective communication and relationships with other hotel departments to ensure effective operation and guest satisfaction.
- To attend all training, meetings, and courses to upskill and refresh food service skills.
- To ensure a high level of cleanliness in your department, public areas and back corridor, adhering to cleaning policies, rotas etc
- Handling any guest queries and complaints, ensuring to record and report accurately and escalate where applicable.

Fitness Instructor
Key Responsibilities:
- To present a professional and courteous attitude to include professional presentation of uniform and hygiene.
- To provide fitness and nutrition advice; carrying out consultations and inductions.
- Designing and delivering suitable, safe and effective exercises and training programmes for members both in an individual and group setting.
- To ensure that all gym equipment is used correctly and maintained in line with fitness club policies.
- To assist the Gym/pool/Hotel with upselling of packages and other services. Ensuring real time knowledge of new promotions, rates and packages.
- To manage customer queries and complaints in a professional manner, escalating where necessary.
- To record and report accurately, maintaining records in line with legislation.
- General administration and reception duties.
- To attend all training courses/training meeting and staff meetings.
- To follow water quality testing, pool operations, cleaning/maintenance, chlorine and acid tank procedures at all times (full training is provided).

Health and Fitness Receptionist
Key Responsibilities:
- To present a professional and courteous attitude to include professional presentation of uniform and hygiene.
- To assist the Gym/pool/Hotel with upselling of packages and other services. Ensuring real time knowledge of new promotions, rates and packages.
- To answer the gym phone ensuring that all messages are passed on to relevant parties
- To liase with gym staff to provide support
- To take bookings for group fitness classes, the swimming pool and gym inductions
- To keep all forms in stock
- To conduct regular pool tests
- To take payments through the till and hold responsibility for the till whilst on shift
- To perform hourly facility checks including poolside checks and restocking toilet rolls
- Maintain the health and fitness centres social media
- To monitor and answer customer enquiries in person, via telephone and via email
- To ensure an equitable environment for customers and work colleagues at all times
- To participate in monthly staff training
- Liase with the accounts department regarding gym memberships
- Ensure that entire gym and swimming pool are is clean at all times
- With the help of the fitness instructor remove and replace the pool cover
- Log broken or hazardous areas with maintenance and head of department

Night Porter
Key Responsibilities:
- To present a professional and courteous attitude, to include professional presentation of uniform and hygiene.
- To ensure that all function areas are checked and set up correctly for the next day’s business.
- To attend to all customer requirements, with special emphasis on early morning calls, paper delivery and bar/room service.
- To service rooms when required.
- Handling customer queries and complaints, ensuring to record and report accurately and escalate where applicable.
- To regularly carry out hygiene, security and maintenance checks, to include public areas/accommodation floors/entrances/exits/fire exits ensuring the latter are free from obstruction.
- Recording, reporting and resolving any hygiene, security or maintenance issues in the hotel or on the hotel grounds.
- To comply with all Safety Rules and Policies and Procedures as outlined in The Employee Handbook.
