Overview
Due to continued growth, First Stop Properties are seeking a full-time Skilled Property Maintenance Technician.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- To carry out general building maintenance on properties including painting and decorating, carpentry, drain and gutter clearance, basic plumbing and electrics
- Responding to the requests of tenants or occupants with regard to mechanical or maintenance issues
- Ensuring safe working practices and that buildings are in compliance with safety and quality regulations including smoke, carbon monoxide and other safety systems
- Dealing with emergency call outs as they arise
About you:
- As well as a practical, hands on approach to problem solving, you will have excellent communication skills, a positive ‘can-do’ attitude and the ability to multi-task and respond calmly and professionally to needs as they present themselves as well as the attention to detail and ability to work on your own initiative
- Ideally have an established background in building maintenance/maintenance management.
- Self motivated and physically fit
- Full driving license is essential
- Training can be provided if required
