Overview
Due to significant growth within Linwoods they are currently seeking a dynamic, ambitious and highly motivated Head of Sales to join the team.
As the head of sales you will play an important role in shaping and driving the company’s commercial strategy, developing a growing sales team and delivering against a strong growth agenda.
Working with the Board of Directors the responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing a comprehensive commercial strategy and plan aligned with company goals to consistently achieve revenue targets.
- Continually Identifying new opportunities for revenue growth, territory growth and margin expansion.
- Delivering revenue growth through strategic account management, new business development, and best in class sales practice.
- Developing strong customer relationships and networking strategically via attending key retail and category events.
- Staying abreast of new trends, retailer direction and market forces though ongoing market interest and understanding.
- Developing, recruiting, training, and mentoring the sales team to create a culture of learning, growth and collaboration.
- Establishing and tracking KPIs for the team and individual performance, building a high performance culture.
- Liaising closely with the marketing department to ensure brand plans are implemented.
The Successful Person must have:
- At least three years’ experience working in a Senior sales leadership capacity in the FMCG sector.
- Significant successful sales leadership experience and people management experience is essential
- Significant Experience dealing with Senior buyers/ Category Directors within leading grocery retailers is essential.
- International Sales experience.
- A strong strategic mind set with a can do attitude and proven success in exceeding performance targets.
- A Confident, driven and dynamic leader, able to influence at the highest levels of organisations.
- Strong work ethic with impeccable integrity.
- A business/commercial qualification is desirable
