Demesne Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Ltd require BIM/CAD Technician based in Armagh.

We are currently seeking a BIM/CAD Technician to join our in-house design and coordination team at our Armagh office.

The ideal candidate will assist in producing detailed 2D and 3D drawings and models to support mechanical and electrical installations across commercial, industrial, and residential projects.

Permanent position available with a strong pipeline of M&E projects across Ireland and the UK.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Produce accurate and detailed M&E drawings using AutoCAD and Revit
  • Develop coordinated BIM models for electrical and mechanical systems
  • Liaise with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors to ensure drawing accuracy
  • Assist in clash detection, drawing updates, and revisions throughout the project lifecycle
  • Support prefabrication and installation teams by delivering timely and clear construction drawings
  • Maintain document control and drawing registers in line with company standards
  • Contribute to BIM standards and development within the company

Key Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar CAD/BIM technician role within the construction or engineering sector
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; experience with Revit and Navisworks highly desirable
  • Familiarity with M&E building systems and construction methods
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • A relevant qualification in Engineering, CAD Design, or Construction Technology is an advantage
