360 Material Scrap Handler Operator

Overview

J Shortt Recycling Ltd require an Experienced 360 Material Scrap Handler Operator for their busy family-owned scrap yard in Keady.

Position: Full- time / permanent

Expected Hours: 45 per week

Schedule: Monday to Friday – Overtime required occasionally

Duties include:

• Ensure vehicles are loaded and unloaded in a safe and proper manner.
• Safely stockpile various grades of scrap metal.
• Ensure materials are stored in accordance with company policy.
• Co-ordinate with other operatives to ensure the correct processing of all loads.
• Operator will be required to complete daily checks on 360 machine, undertake minor repairs and look after machine on a daily basis and ensure the working area is kept in a clean and tidy state at all times.
• Good understanding of Health and Safety.

Successful applicant must be enthusiastic and self-motivated and may be required to undertake other duties as and when required.
