Overview
Wylie Ruddell are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Specialist to join their team.
As an Administrative Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations and ensuring smooth administrative processes.
This is initially a part-time position but may in time become a full-time position should the need arise and it suits both parties.
Duties include:
- Perform clerical tasks such as data entry, typing, and filing
- Provide administrative support to management and staff
- Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate personnel
- Maintain office supplies and inventory
- Assist with scheduling appointments and meetings
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Assist with preparation of VAT returns, bank reconciliations etc as the need arises
- Have the ability to show initiative in the workplace
- Be a team player
- Major on building relationships and customer service
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an administrative role is preferred
- Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, etc
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Familiarity with Xero, Sage or other accounting software is a plus
Salary:
- Negotiable depending on the level of experience
