Overview

Wylie Ruddell are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Specialist to join their team.

As an Administrative Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations and ensuring smooth administrative processes.

This is initially a part-time position but may in time become a full-time position should the need arise and it suits both parties.

Duties include:

  • Perform clerical tasks such as data entry, typing, and filing
  • Provide administrative support to management and staff
  • Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate personnel
  • Maintain office supplies and inventory
  • Assist with scheduling appointments and meetings
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Assist with preparation of VAT returns, bank reconciliations etc as the need arises
  • Have the ability to show initiative in the workplace
  • Be a team player
  • Major on building relationships and customer service

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role is preferred
  • Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, etc
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
  • Familiarity with Xero, Sage or other accounting software is a plus

Salary:

  • Negotiable depending on the level of experience
