Overview
WK Powell and Son are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join their team as an Agriculture Warehouse/Yard Person in Keady.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting daily operations, including handling agricultural products, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
Location: WK Powell and Son, Keady
Employment Type: Full Time / Part time
Start Date: As Discussed with Richard
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload trucks and agricultural products (seed, fertilizer, feed, etc.).
- Operate forklifts and other yard equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist customers and delivery drivers in the yard as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and deliveries.
- Keep yard and warehouse areas clean, organised, and compliant with safety standards.
- Perform basic maintenance and other tasks as directed by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in warehouse, yard, or agricultural work preferred.
- Forklift operation experience (certification is an asset – However, Full training will be provided).
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work in a physically active environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid driver’s license preferred but not essential.
