Overview
Sean Jordan Engineering are seeking a General Handy Person to carry out a wide range of maintenance, repair and improvement tasks across their busy engineering yard.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of workmanship, identifying maintenance issues and completing repairs efficiently while ensuring a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general maintenance and repair work
- Diagnose maintenance issues and recommend appropriate solutions
- Carry out routine property inspections and preventative maintenance
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with relevant health and safety regulations
Required Skills and Experience:
- Experience in general maintenance or a similar handyman role is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
