Linwoods currently have exciting opportunities within the Company for General Operatives – Monday to Friday (2.00pm-6.30pm).
The Role
Linwoods currently require General Operatives to work within our Health Food plant.
Our General Operatives play a vital role in ensuring that our products are of exceptional quality. This role involves working in a production area undertaking general duties such as using plant equipment, paperwork and ensuring that the work area is kept clean and tidy.
The Person
They need candidates who are able to work well as part of a team and possess the energy and drive to complete their work to a high standard. Candidates must be willing to learn new skills in order to develop in their role.
Essential Criteria:
- Good standard of education.
- Previous experience of working as part of a team.
- Proven ability to work on their own initiative
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to understand health and safety requirements.
- Ability to learn how to operate production line machinery
- Flexibility in relation to working hours.
Desirable Criteria:
- Previous experience gained in a production role

They also require Casual General Operatives Monday to Friday (2.00pm-6.30pm)
The Role
Linwoods currently require a pool of Casual General Operatives that may be called upon at short notice to work in various roles that arise within our production areas.
Previous experience is desirable but not essential. To be considered you must have:
- Reliable timekeeping
- Flexibility in your approach to your hours of work
- Good attention to detail
- The ability to meet production deadlines.
