IT Technician

Overview

Due to business growth, IT Hub require an IT Technician to join their team.

The successful candidate will provide workshop, remote and onsite support to our customer base.

The Role:

• Managing and maintaining client networks and systems
• Providing technical support to our clients via Phone, Email, Teams and Remote support
  tools.
• Troubleshooting and resolving IT problems
• Installing and configuring computer hardware, operating systems and applications
• Manage Microsoft Server/Azure Environments
• Implementation of Microsoft 365 / SharePoint / Intune products
• Managing many open tickets at a time
• Design and implementation of managed networks
• Monitoring Client Systems to proactively address faults.
• Ensure CyberSecurity standards are met

Desirable Criteria:

• A degree or equivalent 3rd level IT qualification and a minimum of 3 years’ experience within a relevant technical role.
• Working knowledge of Windows Server/Azure Environments
• Ability to manage and setup Microsoft 365 products – Azure / SharePoint /Teams /Exchange / Intune.
• Strong understanding of networking principles and troubleshooting including Routing, VLAN, Firewalls, VPN, Managed Switches.
• Knowledge of virtualisation technologies including Hyper-V / VMware.
• Working knowledge of CoPilot
• Excellent communication skills suitable for both customer facing and telephone support
• Ability to work with own initiative
• High standards and attention to detail.
• Strong worth ethic.

• Clean driving licence

Pay: £25,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
