Kitchen Porter

Overview

V Restaurant Moy are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join their team.

The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen environment, supporting the culinary team in food preparation.

Duties:

• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks under the guidance of the culinary team
• Dispose of trash and recycling following proper procedures
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and inform when replenishment is needed
• Adhere to health and safety standards at all times

Experience:

• Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not essential
• Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Strong communication skills and a team player mentality

Skills:

• Experience or interest in culinary arts
• Familiarity with restaurant or hospitality industry
• Willingness to assist with various kitchen tasks
• Basic understanding of food preparation techniques

Hours of work will be:

4pm-10pm Thursday, Friday & Saturday

Midday to 8pm Sunday

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £6.50-£11.50 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 24 per week
