Mount Charles are currently recruiting for a Mobile Commis Chef to join their team based across various SRC sites across Armagh, Newry and Portadown. This is a great opportunity to join a world leading facilities management company.

Working Pattern:
- 12 Hours per Week
- Primarily term time.
- Hours mainly between 7.30am to 3pm but may vary – full availability Monday to Friday required.
- Hours will vary week-on-week based on business needs.

The Role:
- Reporting to the Operations Manager
- Planning, Preparation, and presentation of all meals served at the required time, adhering to the service level agreement and to the client, customer and Company satisfaction
- Adhering to special dietary requirements, paying particular attention to allergens
- Purchasing and stock control in accordance with company suppliers if covering a site
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene of the unit to required standards
- Ensuring completion of due diligence records in line with Food safety policies
- Preparation of any hospitality catering as required, some of which may occur outside of normal working hours
- Take all necessary steps to ensure maximum security of the kitchen, store, office, safe and monies and any other areas under Mount Charles control
- Working as part of the team to maintain and deliver excellent customer service
The Person:
- Minimum Level 2 award in Food Safety and Catering or equivalent.
- Full driving license and a method of transport
- Good communications skills
- Ability to adhere to all health & safety practices
- Strong customer service skills
- High levels of personal hygiene and appearance
- The ability to prioritise and have an eye for detail
- The ability to demonstrate great teamwork skills
- Basic statutory training for the role will require all candidates to have basic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills to assist in understanding safety and work instructions and communicating with customers on a day-to-day basis.
