Overview
Redrock Machinery are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend and shape sheet metal components with precision. This role is vital in ensuring the production of high-quality fabricated parts, supporting our commitment to excellence in manufacturing processes.
Press Brake Operator Duties:
- Set up and operate press brake machinery according to specifications and technical drawings
- Adjust machine settings to achieve precise bends and angles in sheet metal components
- Inspect finished parts for quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on press brake equipment
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders
- Utilise hand tools and tooling to assist in fabrication and assembly processes
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines efficiently
Skills:
- Experience not necessary as full training will be provided
- Proficiency with hand tools, tooling, and basic measuring instruments
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work accurately under pressure in a fast-paced environment
