Process Controller

Overview

Daily Bake require Process Controller to join their busy team based in Armagh.

The Process Controller will report to the Senior Production Supervisor and is responsible for ensuring that all food safety controls, legal requirements and customer specification are in place during the making of the food.

Working under the supervision of the Senior Production Supervisor, duties will involve continuous spot checks throughout their working day, and the role further expects the individual to participate in production when required e.g., assembling the range of products, working on conveyors, packing machines or stations as designated, however maintaining environmental and health and safety compliance at all times.

The person will work in a busy production environment ensuring that production lines have a constant supply of raw materials and all machines are running at optimum speeds whilst not compromising quality.

This successful candidate will be provided with one-to-one training, and then on the job training.

Job Duties

• Monitor & Spot check ‘On & Off-Line Quality’ (Kitchen/High Care & Chills/WIP), Specifications, BBD/UB of Raw Materials, Gas Checks, Weight Checks, Metal Detection.
• Completion of Production Records
• Ensure working environment is clean and tidy at all times; ‘Everything has a place and in its place.’
• Ensure customer specifications are adhered to.
• General process duties within the team environment (preparation, assembling, packing, weighing, boxing, labelling etc.)
• Ensure health and safety is adhered to throughout the department.
• Report to the senior management team if there is any non-conforming product.
• Any other duties, within reason and capability, as determined by the senior management team.
