Overview
Killeen Hardware are seeking a detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their payments team.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing accounts payable and ensuring accurate financial records. This position requires proficiency in various accounting software and strong analytical skills to support our purchasing processes.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and process purchase invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Perform data entry tasks related to accounts payable and maintain up-to-date financial records.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and analyses as required.
- Utilise accounting software such as Collosus
- Maintain an organised filing system for all purchase documents and correspondence.
- Provide support during audits by ensuring all necessary documentation is readily available.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in computer and software use.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general accounting principles.
- Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
