Killeen Hardware are seeking a detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their payments team.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing accounts payable and ensuring accurate financial records. This position requires proficiency in various accounting software and strong analytical skills to support our purchasing processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and process purchase invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Perform data entry tasks related to accounts payable and maintain up-to-date financial records.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and analyses as required.
  • Utilise accounting software such as Collosus
  • Maintain an organised filing system for all purchase documents and correspondence.
  • Provide support during audits by ensuring all necessary documentation is readily available.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in computer and software use.
  • Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general accounting principles.
  • Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data effectively.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £14.50-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 42 per week
