McKvr Sports are seeking a Quality Control (QC) Operative – Sublimated Sportswear to join their successful team!
The QC Operative is responsible for ensuring all sublimated sportswear garments meet the company’s quality standards and customer specifications prior to dispatch.
This role plays a critical part in maintaining brand reputation by verifying accuracy, consistency, and overall garment quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect finished sublimated garments (e.g., jerseys, shorts, leggings, training wear) prior to packing and dispatch
- Verify design accuracy, including colours, logos, sponsor placement, names, and numbers against order specifications
- Check garment construction, ensuring stitching quality, sizing consistency, and overall finish meet required standards
- Identify and report defects such as misprints, colour inconsistencies, fabric flaws, or sewing faults
- Segregate and record faulty items, ensuring they are returned for rework or rejection
- Ensure correct quantities, sizes, and variations are completed for each order
- Work closely with production and sewing teams to resolve quality issues and prevent repeat errors
- Maintain accurate QC records and documentation for traceability
- Support packing teams by ensuring only approved, high-quality garments are dispatched
- Adhere to company quality standards, procedures, and health and safety guidelines
- Clip, Iron and Press garments, finishing with swing tagging and bagging.
