Due to continued growth within Mamo Building Services we have a new opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join our team with excellent development, learning and training opportunities.
Quantity Surveyor Job description
- Assist in the preparation of tender documents.
- Analysing tenders and contract bids.
- Conduct thorough cost analysis and cost planning.
- Attend and participate in site progress meetings.
- Help deliver projects on-time and within budget.
- Ability to manage several projects at different stages.
- Maintenance
- Facility Management
- Provide accurate and robust monthly reports for Management
- Help promote best practice in Health, Safety and Environmental issues.

Requirements
- Ideally have a degree in Quantity Surveying/Construction Management or a degree in a related discipline.
- Proficient IT skills
- An understanding of current building regulations
Desirable
- Proficiency with digital design tools (3D modelling software) and an understanding of tendering and design processes especially for small fast track maintenance operations.
- Knowledge of construction techniques including pricing, design, and tendering for the Northern Ireland market and client specific specifications.
- Experience of working with Revit and/or other similar modelling software

Salary
A monthly salary is available commensurate with experience, and we envisage a package of between £30 – £38k for the right candidate.
