Job Title: Retail Assistant
Reporting to: Shop Manager
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- The role will include Shift work and weekends based on a rolling rota
- Work as a team
- Ensuring customers are always provided with excellent customer service
- Scan goods and ensue pricing is correct
- Issue receipts, refunds, change and manage transactions with customers, able to use a cash register.
- Unpack deliveries and re-stock the shelves
- Maintain tidy and clean work place at all times
- Multi-tasker- have the ability to prioritize multiple tasks at any one time
- Serve in our ‘Food to Go’ counter
- Assisting the managers in merchandising
Having an advantage by being experienced in Forecourt/Petrol Stations.
You’ll do everything from checking off deliveries to dealing with enquiries or ensuring that the shelves are fully stocked with well-presented products.
And, of course, you’ll provide excellent customer service at all times by attending to customer needs in a prompt and friendly way.
