Sunnymead Residential Living are currently seeking a Senior Care Assistant (24 hours per week) to join their team, based on the Portadown Road, Armagh.

Senior Care Assistant Role:

  • To assist the home manager in the efficient and effective running of Sunnymead and to ensure a high standard of care and professional practice is maintained. To coordinate and participate in the delivery of person centred programmes of care to Residents.

Main Duties:

  • Contribute and co-operate as an essential part of the management team and acting responsibly in all decision-making processes.
  • Exercise good leadership skills.
  • In the absence of the home manager and deputy home manager take responsibility for the running of Sunnymead.

Essential Criteria:

  • Working as a Care Assistant for at least 3 years

Desirable Criteria:

  • Level 3 Health and Social care
