MCR (Mobile Curtainsider Repairs) are seeking a reliable and hardworking Transport Curtain Repair Technician to join their team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing and maintaining vehicle side curtains for HGVs, trailers, and commercial transport fleets, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.
Technician Key Responsibilities:
- Repair damaged transport and trailer curtains
- Weld, patch, stitch, and replace curtain materials where required
- Fit buckles, straps, rollers, and tracking components
- Carry out on-site and workshop-based repairs
- Inspect curtains and identify faults or wear issues
- Ensure all repairs meet safety and quality standards
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean working environment
- Previous experience in curtain-sided trailer repairs is preferred
- Good practical and hands-on skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Full driving licence
- Good timekeeping and reliability
