Transport Planner

Overview

Campbell Bulk Haulage Ltd require a Transport Planner to join their busy team in Keady.

Duties and responsibilities:

• As a Transport Planner you will be responsible for the day to day co-ordinating and route planning of our fleet of lorries and trailers across the UK, Northern Ireland and Southern Ireland.
• Liaise with customers and prioritise work to meet deadlines
• Booking shipping space, utilising the most cost and time effective routes
• Track the delivery of goods to avoid possible delays and meet customer requirements
• Working with fleet maintenance to ensure vehicles are fully maintained and run efficiently

Criteria:

• The successful candidate must have proven experience in this role
• Excellent IT skills
• Excellent geographical knowledge
• Experience in Platinum/Catalyst computer system preferred, but not essential as full training will be given
• Ability to work well with others as part of a team and work to deadlines

Salary:

• An excellent renumeration package is available to the successful candidate and will be discussed at interview.
