TCTS Group and TCTS Ireland endeavour to offer and provide a broad range of training services in a professional manner to a wide range of clients.

The role of our Trainers is to deliver and develop high level, industry changing Training to clients and customers both onsite face to face and remotely as instructor led.

Transport Trainer Duties and Responsibilities:

The main duties and responsibilities of the role are listed below. This list is intended as a guide and we expect all staff to be flexible and willing to undertake any other duties commensurate with their skills for the benefit of the Company.

These are the responsibilities of the role – you are expected to liaise with support staff where necessary to ensure responsibilities are met.

  • Be responsible for all aspects of the Training Division
  • Organise and Deliver Training courses both Face-to-Face and remotely as instructor led
  • Prepare training material and lesson plans
  • Maximise attendance at training courses
  • Develop new training courses
  • Develop and Design company bespoke training for our clients and customers from the general public
  • Organise venue hire and supplies for courses working along side our admin support staff
  • Manage your own work load & be customer focused
  • Organise & manage third party training providers as required
  • Organise, check and issue training certificates
  • Ensure adherence to current training accreditation bodies
  • Secure membership with additional accreditation bodies
  • Ensure all paperwork before, during and after training delivery has been fully completed and follow our processes
  • Work alongside staff from all other divisions to ensure training and skills gap analysis planning is implemented for both customers and our own staff/associated and agents
  • Ensure customers & clients are made aware of training renewal dates in a timely manner and secure re-training sales
  • Increase sales in training area
  • Meet all KPI’s
  • Conduct Consultation visits with clients
  • Promote other TCTS Group services when meeting clients
  • Assist other staff on site audits and compliance checks when required
  • Ensure your CPD is valid and relevant
  • Increase your knowledge base and accreditation level to become a dual skilled trainer & assessor
  • Meet all sales and service delivery targets
  • Education and Experience Requirements
  • MUST be passionate about training development and delivery !
  • Hold the relevant training qualifications for your selected fields
  • Hold the relevant membership to accredited bodies
  • Ensure all training qualifications and CPD are valid
  • Must have at least 2 years relevant Experience in delivering training courses
  • Hold a Training/Teaching qualification such as PTTILS (or working towards)
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Excellent IT skills including use of Microsoft Office, Emails, Powerpoint etc
  • Attention to detail, confident, self-motivated and customer focused individual
  • Own means of transport
  • A friendly and flexible approach
  • Co-operative and a team player

Other Notes

This role is primarily based at our New Co. Armagh Facility with monthly meetings at our Head Office in Lisnaskea Co Fermanagh however, due to the nature of the role working from home or our remote offices based throughout NI & ROI will be required along with extensive travel to undertake some of the duties listed above. Flexible working hours, working from home, evening and weekend work will also be required to suit business needs.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £25,000.00-£38,000.00 per year

Additional pay: Bonus scheme
