Major investment streamlines vehicle services at Wilsons Auctions

As the UK and Ireland’s largest independent auction company, Wilsons Auctions continues to offer vendors and customers state of the art re-marketing services with new and improved facilities across multiple auction centres.

This summer, the auction company is delighted to showcase new investments with the reveal of new vehicle preparation areas. The vehicles entered for auction go through a thorough process of wash, valet, inspection, appraisal, and imagery.

Utilising extra space within the Belfast site has allowed the auction company to strategically place a new building to be entirely dedicated to preparing vehicles for auction. The building features a structured wash area, spacious valeting bays and state of the art photo booths.

Similar investment is being carried forward across all sites at Wilsons Auctions with enhancements to vehicle preparation areas also completed to date in the Portadown and Dublin sites.

Wilsons Auctions works with some of the largest dealerships and motor groups across the UK and Ireland and offers over 30 vehicle auctions every week. The continued investment allows the auction company to offer vendors top-tier vehicle re-marketing services and offer bidders and buyers quality reporting and images on any vehicle presented at auction.

Peter Johnston, Group Operations Director at Wilsons Auctions commented, “Continuous investment in our facilities is important to future proof the business. We are proud of the facilities we offer to our customers, and it is also important to create better work environments for our staff, who are key to our ongoing success.’’

Holding over 3,100 auctions each year, Wilsons Auctions can auction every category of asset from cars and vans, plant and machinery to property and general goods. It also has the expertise to deal with more luxurious goods including planes, yachts, gold bars, supercars, designer goods, prestigious watches and more recently expanding its offering to cryptocurrency.
