Lurgan local appointed as Business Development Manager in Outsource Group
A Lurgan local has been announced as the newest recruit in NI based tech company, Outsource Group in the position of Business Development Manager.
Outsource Group, headquartered in Antrim, employs almost 100 people and offers a broad range of technology support and services to customers in the UK and Ireland, with an increasing focus in recent years on embedding IT security in everything it does.
Tara Leathem, who has joined Outsource this month as their new Business Development Manager, has over 20 years of experience in business development and software solutions, IT and renewable energy, owning her own business for 10 years, which offered web solutions to over 120 clients across Northern Ireland and Ireland.
At Outsource Group, Tara will be overseeing all new business development activities across IT Managed Services, Cyber Security, Cloud and Telecoms as well as developing relationships with the company’s current client base. She will also be seeking new business development opportunities in both the public and private sectors.
Outsource Group recently announced plans to increase its workforce, and with a series of new contract wins, continues to recruit for a range of technical and non-technical roles.
The company was founded in 2000 when CEO Terry Moore recognised that businesses needed to focus on the issue of security following the Y2K scare. Terry wanted to help people understand that businesses should embrace technology, using his technical knowledge and entrepreneurial skills.
Since then, the Outsource team and services have grown substantially and the firm is now made up of a high skilled workforce in five different locations: Antrim, Belfast, Cookstown, Dublin and Edinburgh.
