Junior Administrator

Redrock Machinery are recruiting for the position of Junior Administrator.

The position is entry level and may be suitable for a school leaver as full training will be provided.

Duties:

  • Perform general office duties and provide telephone cover during busy periods
  • Organise filing systems and update office databases
  • Prepare, organise and store information in paper and digital form
  • Arrange travel plans and hotel stays for staff members
  • Utilise computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office/Excel

The ideal candidate must have:

  • Excellent communication skills both face to face and on the phone.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft packages including excel
  • An ability to learn quickly and adapt to different situations.
  • The ability to work both in a team and on their own when required.
  • Be organised, methodical, self-motivated with strong attention to detail.

Accounts/Administrator Assistant

Linwoods Armagh currently require a full time Accounts/Administration Assistant to work in their busy office.

Duties include:

  • Credit Control and Data analysis.
  • Maintaining Customer accounts
  • Invoice processing and account reconciliation.
  • General administration as and when required.

Essential Criteria:

  • Previous experience working within an Accounts/Administration role.
  • Experience of purchase and Sales ledgers.

Accounts Technician / Assistant Accountant – Closing Soon

Creighan Contracts are currently looking for an experienced individual to join their team as Accounts Technician / Assistant Accountant.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial operation of the company, reporting to the Managing Director.

They will work alongside the Admin team, Operations team, and Commercial Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts to Trial Balance
  • Manage all aspects of Accounts Payable and Receivable and all subcontractor payments
  • Revenue returns for P30, VAT and RCT
  • Prepare payment runs for review and ensure they are in line with the cashflow forecasts.
  • Entering financial information into accounting software programs
  • Reconciling bank accounts
  • Managing company ledgers
  • Raise invoices
  • Analysis and reconciliations
  • Responsible for weekly and monthly payroll
  • Credit Control
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial tasks as required

Qualifications:

  • Recognised Accounting Qualification. (ATT, ATI or equivalent)
  • Five plus year experience post qualification in a similar role
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written and presentational)
  • Team Player, communicative person with a can-do attitude, time flexibility

Part-time Accounts Administrator – Closing Soon

Noel Conn and Company are seeking a part-time Accounts Administrator to join their team based in Armagh.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing VAT returns, bank reconciliations and managing business credit control
  • Preparing internal reports
  • Maintain and update financial records, managing accounts payable and payroll
  • Transfer invoices to accounts payable, and record receipts from clients
  • Ensure all financial data is accurately recorded and categorised
  • Reconcile bank accounts
  • Manage Debtors working with the Directors Gemma, Judith, and Noel
  • Restock supplies of stationery and other office products

Qualifications:

  • Enjoy working with computers, Microsoft Office (Access, Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Have experience of Sage Accounts line 50, Xero or similar packages
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion
  • Proactive attitude with the ability to anticipate needs and act accordingly
