Accounts Assistant

Re-Gen Waste are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their team in the Waste Management industry.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various accounting duties. The role is suitable for someone who has a minimum of 2 years’ experience within an industry environment.

Key Duties:

• Registration and processing of customer and supplier invoices
• Comprehensive and accurate customer and supplier file maintenance
• Reconciliation of Customer and supplier statements and liaison with customers and suppliers to resolve any queries
• Process payments to suppliers
• Purchase order administration
• Company credit card reconciliation, posting all related invoices and payments
• Post petty cash transactions
• Inter-company account recharge
• Assisting to develop and enhance exiting process es and use of software packages
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as required by management
• Participating in the annual external audit
• Assist with month-end and ear end closing procedures
• Providing support and cover within the accounts team as required

IT Manager

Re-Gen Waste are seeking an IT Manager to join their expanding team based in Newry.

Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the seamless and efficient day-to-day functioning of the company IT infrastructure and operations and oversee and optimise IT processes, support the organisation and technology needs, and contribute to the overall reliability and performance of IT systems.

Key Duties:

  • Management and development of the IT Team
  • Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers.
  • Monitor and report on IT objectives and ensure that any areas of concern are raised in a timely manner and strategic solutions proposed are implemented
  • Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
  • Supervise daily operations of network server infrastructure
  • Align the IT Strategy with the current Business Strategy
  • Oversee and contribute to project management activities related to IT initiatives.
  • Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations
  • Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures
  • Manage the ticketing system
  • Preserve assets, information security and control structures
  • Assessing and purchasing of new and replacement hardware
  • Assuring that all IT activities are within the applicable laws
  • Communicate key information to Stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within IT operations.

Bale Operator 

Re-Gen Waste are currently recruiting for Bale Operator role to join their team in Newry.

The successful candidate will be based within the Waste to Energy plant and will be required to bail material whilst also ensuring KPI’s are on target, in doing this you will be responsible for cleaning the strapper, wrapper and keeping stock control.

The candidate must follow H&S policies at all times and work as part of a team whilst keeping their work area clean.

Essential Criteria:

  • Flexibility to work shift patterns and over time when required.
  • Ability to develop new skills.
  • Ability to deliver high quality work with getting it right first time.

Shovel Driver

Re-Gen Waste are currently recruiting for the role of Shovel Driver with the overall purpose of this role is to load and tip trailers.

You will be joining their growing team based in their site in Newry working within a Waste to Energy plant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive shovel
  • Empty bunkers
  • Operating heavy goods machinery
  • Follow instructions from supervisor
  • Comply with Health and Safety policy at all times and adapt safe methods of working
