Armagh City Hotel on look out for fresh new culinary talent

The Armagh City Hotel turn over hundreds of covers per day in their popular eateries; The Callan Bar and Friary Restaurant.
From intimate à la carte dining to black tie events, no two days are guaranteed to be the same.
The bustling city hotel are now on the look out for fresh new culinary talent and have the following vacancies available:
Chef De Partie
The Chef De Partie is required to assist with the smooth running of the busy hotel kitchen.
The position is full time and permanent working on a shift pattern basis.
As Chef De Partie you will be required to present a professional and courteous attitude, to include professional presentation of uniform and hygiene whilst liaising with the Head Chef and Sous Chef about the daily requirements of the section and to help plan the work load of the section on a weekly basis and assisting in ordering specific goods to run the section.
A Level 2 in basic food hygiene is desirable but not essential as training will be provided. Candidates should have previous experience in a similar role.

Kitchen Porter
The Kitchen Porter is required to ensure the kitchen is clean and set up to the standard laid down by the hotel while assisting in general kitchen duties.
The post is full time and permanent with shifts to include early mornings, late evenings, weekends and statutory holidays or other holidays.
Prospective candidates should possess the ability to work under pressure to achieve objectives within timescales, without compromising accuracy and quality. You must be extremely organised, with the ability to make intelligent decisions when faced with competing priorities and have excellent verbal and written communication, with great interpersonal skills.
